In 1985, François Buisson the youngest of the family, became involved in the wine industry with his father André, a winemaker since 1945. He completed his high school years and the viticulture school. At the same time he learn the profession himself by developing his craft passion for wine.
From 1985 to 2003, father and son formed a close partnership, one bringing experience and quiet strength and the other bringing ardour and the desire to innovate. In 1991 François took over running the domaine. His father passed away in 2003. In 2005 significant changes were implemented and the business was transferred to the former home of his grandparents on his mother's side which had been a renowned mustard factory from 1870 to 1939. The domaine evolved and made it possible to invest in harvest reception and vinification materials in order to produce pure, elegant wines that reflect their terroir and evolve well over time. The clientele has been welcomed with open arms into the new cellars since 2006. This love of wine, desire to constantly evolve and improve expertise will allow the future generation to conserve the legacy and, in time, pass it down to the next generation.
The domaine cultivates the 4 villages of Beaune, Pommard, Puligny and above all Meursault with 4 1er Cru appellations, les Charmes, les Gouttes d'Or, les Genevrières and les Porusots. Without forgetting the Bourgogne appellations such as Chardonnay, Aligoté and Pinot Noir. The wines are direct, expressive and offer the characteristic Meursault minerality.
